    I cannot say enough nice things about Joe & HoneyBee Blues! We had a huge swarm of honey bees that made their way into our home. I made dozens of calls for help and he was the only one who took me seriously and was willing to help. Thank God we found Joe! He is professional, knowledgeable, polite, and thorough. You can tell that he loves what he does and has fun while he works with the bees. He works enthusiastically and kept coming back until the problem was solved. Joe is just an all around good guy.     We purchased a house that had a large hive in the walls of 3rd floor vaulted ceiling. Honeybee blues was more than happy to take on the challenge of helping us remove the hive without having to exterminate. He was very forthcoming on everything that may happen and with enough patience the hive was removed and all the honey bees were relocated. This was a job many others turned down and one past person attempted but didn’t finish. Very thankful for his assistance! Highly recommended!!! See more See less

    No hive to big or to small,so give joe a call and get those bees out of your house. Do not try to do your self. Joe is a honest guy returns your call fast and shows up on time. He did a grate job for me and if i ever have another issue with bees i won't call anyone else. Thanks joe for all your help. See more See less

    Couldn't recommend Joe with Honey Bee Blues more! We attempted to deal with a bald faced hornet nest ourselves. We sprayed multiple times and on the 2nd spray (10pm) they attacked our neighbors front door! We called in HBB. He explained how complex their hive is and how new ones emerge each day. He vacuumed them out (to provide venom for immunotherapy/allergies) then destroyed the nest and finally sprayed so any returning would die. Thank you! See more See less

    We have had a honey bee hive in the stone column of our front porch for over 9 years. Every year I reached out to other beekeepers asking for help relocating them. Most never showed up or did not wanted to tackle our problem. Joe with Hilltop Hives showed up this morning with an infrared camera to see exactly where the hive was located and to come up with a plan to remove them. The camera really helped because he was able to suggest an option none of the other beekeepers had considered. He returned later this afternoon and was able to take them all safely away. Joe was so nice and professional. We highly recommend him and Hilltop Hives to anyone who needs honey bees 🐝 relocated. My husband and I are are thrilled! The removal process went smoothly.     Joe was hired to remove a honeybee colony from our roof soffit. He was the only person we could find in the Tri-State area that would remove the comb to ensure a complete evacuation and low probability of bee return. The private and large corporate exterminators we contacted would not even consider comb removal which is key. Joe was professional, thorough and informative throughout the process (pre-visit and day of removal). This is a time consuming event and Joe worked efficiently to complete the job to our standards.     Highly recommended HoneyBee Blues!! Back at the start of May I noticed a swarm of honeybees around the roof line of our home. We had a different commercial pest control group look at the hive and not only were they unable to positively determine where the hive was settling, but then price us at a minimum of $2,500 before being able to move forward with any additional investigation. I called a total of 8 other honeybee enthusiasts, small business pest control operations, commercial pest control groups for additional quotes. HoneyBee Blues was the ONLY one who called me back with interest in the job! HoneyBee Blues was extremely professional, extremely knowledgeable, and EXTREMELY FAIR with their price. HoneyBee Blues first conducted a consultation to determined the hive location, then gave us the run down to settle everyone’s expectations, and then provided us with a very fair quote (hundreds of dollars, not thousands). HoneyBee Blues returned in about a week to complete the removal with all the proper tools and a game plan in place. It was a tight spot but they made it happen. We are so grateful for the help and, [given the fact the bees were there regardless of who ushered them away], it was really nice to have the opportunity to support a local small business.
